Construction AI Software Gets Boost with New Features

MIAMI, FLORIDA – As demand for new construction continues to increase, a revolutionary AI software is speeding up the process to complete projects. Togal.ai is adding two new features to help finish construction plans in record timing.

“Togal.ai is already popular and getting rave reviews. We’re excited to add more options to the software to help crews become more efficient, save time and money,” Togal AI CEO Patrick Murphy said.

The first new feature is wall classification, which automatically detects and labels the types of walls in blueprints, like if it’s a bathroom, corridor, shaft, interior or exterior wall. The second new feature allows the user to overlay an older version of plans with updated ones, identifying key changes and quantifying these changes. Missing these changes in the plans can lead to some of the costliest mistakes in construction, bringing the savings and value of Togal even higher.

“Togal operates with 99 percent accuracy. This type of machine learning is a game changer and a huge win to help the construction industry meet the growing demand we’re seeing today,” Murphy added.

Before Togal, estimators measured the square footage of rooms manually with rollers and rulers, or by dragging a computer mouse over each area to label it. The software also has Area ML Classification, which automatically detects and names room types, like whether a space is a closet, bathroom, hallway, or kitchen.

Plans for major projects can be hundreds of pages, taking weeks to complete. Togal finishes those jobs in mere seconds, so estimators can focus on helping clients save money and build better jobs. Available on Procore and Bluebeam, Togal is the ultimate tool to augment the human estimator and allow them to do more with less.

Togal has been featured in Engineering News-Record (ENR), The Real Deal, Construction Dive, Construction Executive, the South Florida Business Journal, Florida Trend, Florida Construction News, Construction Equipment Guide, Constructech, Tribe, Cafecito Talk with Miami Mayor Francis Suarez and other outlets and publications.
