DESTINI Estimator and Togal.AI Integration Quickly and Accurately Adds Takeoff to Estimate

Beck Technology, a preconstruction data lifecycle company, and Togal.AI, a machine-learning takeoff software, announce the integration between DESTINI® Estimator; an integrated construction estimating software, and Togal.AI. The integration improves the speed and quality of 2D takeoff while simultaneously building a construction estimate.

Togal.AI can interpret plans within a 97% accuracy through their innovative use of AIA measurement standards and machine-learning algorithms. Beck Technology incorporated this efficient workflow into the DESTINI Estimator estimating software so preconstruction professionals can spend less time completing manual takeoff and more time on high-value activities like data analysis and “what-if” calculations. This integration can reduce takeoff tasks by up to 90%.

“Togal.AI and Beck Technology’s partnership allows preconstruction teams to prioritize higher value jobs. With our technology, they’ll save considerable time, allowing them to focus on other critical aspects of estimating such as pricing strategies, and having more time to bid on new work,” said Patrick Hughes, President at Togal.AI.

Michael Boren, Chief Technology Officer at Beck Technology, said, “Wayne Gretzky said it perfectly, ‘Don’t skate to where the puck is, skate to where it is going to be.’ Skating to where the puck is going to be is how we develop our DESTINI products and the integration with Togal is a perfect example of this. Beck Technology is going to save the estimating team weeks, not minutes, delivering an accurate estimate because of the Togal integration.

Based in Miami, Florida, Togal.AI is one of the fastest growing precon softwares, with hundreds of users from some of the world’s largest contractors. Togal uses machine learning to automate takeoffs, compressing weeks of work into seconds. Estimators at Coastal Construction, one of America’s largest General Contractors, used Togal to cut their workload by 40 percent; saving about $1 million and 10,000 hours of work annually. Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary gave Togal.AI first place at Miami’s eMerge Americas competition and Togal has made BuiltWorlds’ Pre-Construction 50 List two years in a row, which names the hottest, construction-tech startups globally.
